Creating your own roller ball blends are quick and easy. They also make fantastic gifts. Just recently, my hairdresser was suffering from a cough so I took her one of these and she was thrilled.

What You’ll Need

-Glass roller ball vial

-Various essential oils

-Witch hazel

-Carrier Oil

It’s important to use glass roller ball vials due to the fact that essential oil can eat through plastic after awhile. I’m sure it takes a long time but why not just start with the best. I recommend these roller balls or these if you don’t already have some.

You’ll need to fill the bottles about 3/4 full with the witch hazel, then add about a 1/4 tsp of carrier oil. This can be pretty much anything of your choosing. Popular ones include coconut oil, almond oil, jojoba oil.

What type of oil you use really depends on your preferences. Making your own products gives you flexibility you can’t find in stores.

Finally, you’ll be adding in your essential oils. After reassembling the roller ball, give it a little shake to mix things up. Below you’ll find all the recipes. Happy creating!
